Around 40 Great Yarmouth council maintenance workers plan two days of strike action in a dispute over employment terms and conditions.
Around 40 maintenance workers employed by Great Yarmouth Borough Council are set to strike later this month in a dispute over their terms and conditions.
Members of the Unite union are due to walk out on Monday 19 and Tuesday 20 October.
The workers were previously employed by contractor Norse before being transferred back in-house to Great Yarmouth Borough Council around two years ago.
Unite says the employees have still not been fully brought onto the National Joint Council Green Book terms used by other council staff.
The union is calling for workers to move to a standard 37-hour week without a reduction in salary.
It also wants holiday entitlements and previous continuous service with Norse to be fully recognised, alongside a timetable for resolving outstanding issues and appropriate backdated payments.
Unite says delays to repair and maintenance work at council properties are expected during the two-day walkout.
The union says industrial action could still be avoided if an agreement is reached with the authority before the strike dates.
The dispute is separate from previous industrial action involving waste and street-cleaning workers in Great Yarmouth.
