Norwich City fans will have an extra late-night train to London after the Southampton match at Carrow Road in October.
Norwich City supporters travelling by rail are being given an extra late-night service following this month’s home match against Southampton.
Greater Anglia will run an additional train from Norwich to London Liverpool Street after the Championship fixture at Carrow Road on Wednesday 14 October.
The service will leave Norwich at 10.35pm, giving supporters time to make the short journey from the stadium to the railway station after the game.
It will call at Diss, Stowmarket, Ipswich, Manningtree, Colchester, Marks Tey, Witham, Chelmsford, Shenfield and Stratford before arriving at London Liverpool Street at 12.42am.
Greater Anglia says the additional service has been arranged after working with Norwich City to identify demand from supporters, including fans travelling to games from London and Essex.
The operator says it wants to support major local events where possible and make public transport a practical option for people attending evening fixtures.
The additional train follows similar arrangements for previous midweek Norwich City matches.
Passengers are being encouraged to plan their journeys and buy tickets in advance.
Greater Anglia says supporters should also check for any late changes to rail services before travelling on matchday.
