More than 430 runners took part in Broadland District Council’s annual Marriott’s Way 10K.
The race was held on Sunday 20 September and followed the historic former railway route from Aylsham to Reepham.
Runners of a range of ages and abilities tackled the mostly flat and off-road course before crossing the finish line in Reepham Market Place.
Patrick Thomas of City of Norwich Athletics Club was the overall men’s winner, completing the 10-kilometre route in 35 minutes and nine seconds.
Dom Blake finished second in 35 minutes and 50.1 seconds, with Andrew Horton third in 36 minutes and 31.5 seconds.
Jo Andrews of Bungay Black Dog Running Club won the women’s event for a third consecutive year.
She finished in 38 minutes and 54.1 seconds, ahead of Charlotte Gilligan of Aylsham Runners and Charli Smith.
The event also included age-category prizes and a Corporate Challenge, which was won by Aviva Team 4.
Broadland District Council chairman Adrian Tipple thanked runners, volunteers, marshals and supporters for helping make the event a success.
Income from race entries helps support council community services, with some funding also going to the chairman’s chosen charity.
