Cultural groups in Norwich can apply for grants of up to £7,500 to support festivals, performances and creative projects citywide.
Cultural and community organisations in Norwich are being invited to apply for grants of up to £7,500.
Norwich City Council has opened the latest round of its Small Culture Grants Scheme, which supports creative projects taking place across the city.
Funding of between £500 and £7,500 is available for projects beginning during the 2026/27 financial year and running for up to 12 months.
The scheme can support a wide range of activities including festivals, theatre, music, dance, heritage projects and other community-based creative events.
Last year, 12 projects received funding.
They included theatre involving people with profound and multiple learning disabilities, performing arts and mentoring for children and young people, heritage festivals, community music and sustainable costumes for a dance group.
The council is introducing a two-stage application process this year.
Organisations must first submit a short Expression of Interest to establish whether their project is eligible and suitable for funding.
Those invited to continue will then receive details about submitting a full application.
The deadline for the first stage is 9am on Wednesday 30 September.
Norwich City Council says the grants are designed to bring communities together and help maintain the city's reputation as a vibrant centre for culture and creativity.
