An inquest has heard how the death of Caroline Flack deeply affected her brother Paul before his death in Norwich.
An inquest into the death of Paul Flack, the older brother of television presenter Caroline Flack, has heard that he struggled with grief in the years following his sister's death.
Paul, 55, was found unresponsive at his home in Norwich on Sunday 21 June 2026, which was Father's Day.
He was taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
During the inquest, Norfolk coroner Joanna Thompson heard that Mr Flack had experienced periods of low mood following a number of difficult life events.
The hearing was told that he had never fully recovered from the death of his younger sister Caroline, who took her own life in February 2020 at the age of 40.
The coroner concluded that Paul had also taken his own life while under the influence of alcohol.
Mr Flack, an artist and graphic designer, had previously spoken publicly about losing his sister and appeared in a television documentary exploring her life and death.
Caroline grew up in Norfolk before becoming a well-known television presenter, hosting programmes including Love Island and The X Factor.
The inquest has brought renewed attention to the family's loss and the lasting emotional impact of bereavement.
