A woman is in a critical condition after being found unconscious at a house in Sprowston.
Emergency services were called to a property on Blue Boar Lane on Tuesday afternoon following concerns for the woman’s welfare.
The woman, believed to be in her 40s, was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where she remains in a critical condition.
Norfolk Police have sealed off the property while officers continue their investigations into what happened.
A cordon remains in place at the address, with inquiries ongoing in the area.
At this stage, police have not confirmed the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
Officers are expected to remain at the scene while evidence is gathered and witnesses are spoken to.
