Two Men Appear In Court Over Beach Allegations

Wednesday, 29 July 2026 08:38

Two men have appeared in court charged with alleged sexual offences involving two teenage girls on Great Yarmouth's South Beach.

Two men have appeared in court charged with alleged sexual offences involving two teenage girls on Great Yarmouth's South Beach.

Madalin Ilinca, 34, denied one count of rape, one count of assault by penetration and one count of sexual assault when he appeared before Norwich Crown Court. He was remanded in custody.

The second defendant, Dawid Wlach, 35, faces four charges: one count of rape, one count of oral rape, one count of assault by penetration and one count of sexual assault. He has been released on conditional bail.

The charges relate to allegations involving two teenage girls on South Beach in Great Yarmouth in May. Both men deny the allegations against them or are awaiting further court proceedings, and the case remains before the courts.

Both defendants are due to return to Norwich Crown Court next month for further hearings. A provisional trial date has also been set later this year.

As criminal proceedings are ongoing, no further details can be reported that could prejudice the case. Both men are entitled to a fair trial, and the charges remain allegations until proven in court.
