Norfolk is under yellow weather warnings on Wednesday and Thursday, with thunderstorms, heavy rain and possible flooding and travel disruption.
Norfolk is under yellow weather warnings for thunderstorms on both Wednesday and Thursday as increasingly unsettled weather moves across the country.
The first Met Office warning is in force from 3am until 10pm on Wednesday 26 August.
Forecasters say heavy and sometimes intense showers could develop, accompanied by thunderstorms, frequent lightning and the possibility of hail.
While not every location within the warning area is expected to experience severe weather, some places could see significant amounts of rain falling in a short period.
A second yellow warning covers Thursday 27 August from 6am until 10pm.
Slow-moving areas of heavy and thundery rain are expected to move northwards, potentially bringing prolonged rainfall and increasing the risk of localised flooding.
The conditions could lead to difficult driving conditions, delays to public transport and disruption caused by surface water on roads.
There is also a possibility of power cuts and other disruption where the most intense thunderstorms develop.
The Met Office says there remains uncertainty over exactly where the heaviest rainfall will occur.
People across Norfolk are being advised to keep checking the latest forecast and weather warnings as conditions develop.
