A Norfolk woman has been given a suspended prison sentence after admitting a sexual offence involving a teenage boy.
Liska Wilmot, 45, of Runhall, previously pleaded guilty to engaging in sexual activity with the teenager at her home during 2023.
At Norwich Crown Court, Wilmot was sentenced to two years' imprisonment, suspended for two years. The court also imposed a 10-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order, placing restrictions on her future conduct to help protect the public.
In addition, she will be subject to sex offender notification requirements, meaning she must comply with the legal obligations placed on registered sex offenders for the period set by the court.
Suspended prison sentences mean an offender does not go immediately to prison unless they breach the conditions of the sentence or commit further offences during the operational period.
The Sexual Harm Prevention Order gives police powers to enforce restrictions designed to prevent further offending, with breaches of the order constituting a separate criminal offence.
The case has now concluded with sentencing at Norwich Crown Court.
