Students across Norfolk are receiving A-Level, T-Level and other Level 3 results, with support available for their next steps.
Thousands of students across Norfolk are finding out what comes next after receiving their A-Level, T-Level and other Level 3 results today, Thursday 13 August.
For many, results day will mean celebrations and confirmation of a university place, apprenticeship or job. But for others, the grades may mean having to rethink plans – and Norfolk County Council is reminding young people that plenty of support is available.
The council's Help You Choose service offers advice on university, apprenticeships, further education, training and employment, as well as information about vacancies and different career options.
Students who have not secured a place for September can also speak directly to a Help You Choose adviser, while the National Careers Service offers free careers advice by phone and online.
Those hoping to go to university can use UCAS Clearing to look for alternative courses and are also encouraged to contact universities directly if they have narrowly missed the grades required for an offer.
The message for anyone disappointed by their results is that there are still plenty of different routes available.
From university and apprenticeships to employment or further training, advisers say today's grades do not have to determine a young person's entire future – and help is available to work out the best next step.
