South Norfolk residents facing financial worries, housing problems or loneliness are being encouraged to access free support through Help Hub.
Residents across South Norfolk are being encouraged to seek free advice and support through the council's Help Hub, which helps people facing financial, housing and personal difficulties.
The service brings together a range of organisations and specialist support services, offering residents a single point of contact when they need assistance.
Help is available for people struggling with household bills, debt, benefits, housing problems, unemployment, loneliness and bereavement.
The service can also provide guidance on relationships, domestic abuse, health and wellbeing, and accessing local community activities.
Rather than residents having to contact several different organisations, Help Hub staff listen to individual circumstances and help connect people with the most appropriate support.
The council says accessing advice early can prevent problems from becoming more serious, particularly as households prepare for increased living costs during the winter months.
Support is also being delivered directly into towns and villages through the council's Community Engagement Van.
The mobile service visits community events and local venues, allowing residents to speak confidentially with trained staff without needing an appointment.
Upcoming visits include locations such as Diss, Harleston, Pulham St Mary and Long Stratton.
Residents can contact the Help Hub on 01603 430431 or visit the Broadland and South Norfolk Councils website for further information.
The council is encouraging anyone who needs assistance to get in touch, regardless of how small their concern may seem.
