Norwich residents are being invited to help shape the city’s future cultural strategy by sharing views on arts and entertainment.
People across Norwich are being invited to have their say on the future of arts, entertainment, culture and heritage in the city.
Norwich City Council and Creative Norwich have launched their latest Residents’ Culture Survey, with the results helping to shape a new cultural strategy and guide future projects, investment and opportunities.
The survey asks residents about the venues, festivals and events they attend, alongside the things that might prevent them from getting involved. People are also being asked how important culture is to Norwich and its identity.
Organisers are keen to hear from everyone – including people who rarely or never attend cultural events – so the strategy reflects experiences from across the city.
The consultation follows Norwich’s involvement in the Cultural Vitality Labs, a national research project exploring the factors that help creativity and culture flourish. Norwich was one of only three places selected to take part.
Anyone who lives in Norwich can complete the survey, with responses kept confidential.
Participants can also choose to enter a prize draw to win £200 as a thank you for taking part.
The survey remains open until Wednesday 30 September 2026.
