Norwich Man Remanded Over Burglary Charges

A Norwich man has appeared in court charged with burglaries and shop thefts allegedly committed across the city this month.

A Norwich man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged in connection with a series of burglaries and shop thefts.

Christopher Stevenson, 32, of Reepham Road, Norwich, appeared before Norwich Magistrates' Court charged with offences linked to three burglaries and several alleged shop thefts.

Norfolk Police say the incidents are alleged to have taken place between 18 July and 28 July.

Stevenson was remanded into custody following his court appearance and is due to appear before Norwich Crown Court on 27 August.

As the case is now before the courts, no further details of the allegations have been released.

Criminal proceedings are ongoing, and Christopher Stevenson is entitled to the presumption of innocence unless and until he is found guilty by a court.
