A man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with harassment and sexual assault offences in Thetford.
A man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with offences following an incident in Thetford.
Bryant Jones, 38, of Tayberry Close in Bury St Edmunds, appeared at Ipswich Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 27 August.
He was initially charged with two counts of harassment relating to an encounter involving two teenage girls in Thetford town centre on Monday 24 August.
Two further charges of sexual assault by touching, also relating to the alleged incident on 24 August, were added when he appeared in court.
Jones was remanded in custody following the hearing.
He is due to make his next appearance at Ipswich Crown Court on Thursday 24 September.
Norfolk Police has not released further details about the circumstances surrounding the alleged offences.
The case remains before the courts and proceedings are ongoing.
