Police have arrested a man following a fatal two-vehicle collision on the A47 near North Tuddenham.
A man has been arrested after a woman died in a two-vehicle collision on the A47 at North Tuddenham.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Monday morning following a collision involving a Ford Transit van and a Vauxhall Corsa.
The driver of the Corsa, a woman in her 60s, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford Transit was arrested in connection with the incident and has since been released on bail while police continue their investigation.
Norfolk Police are working to establish the full circumstances of the collision and are appealing for anyone who witnessed the crash, or who has dashcam footage from the area at the time, to come forward.
Specialist collision investigators have examined the scene, and the road was closed for several hours while emergency services carried out their work.
The woman's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers as inquiries continue.
