A teenage boy remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle on the A47 in Norfolk.
Emergency services were called to the A47 near Station Road in Little Fransham at 8.43am on Monday 17 August following a collision between a black Nissan Elgrand MPV and a pedestrian.
The teenage boy suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to hospital for emergency treatment, where police say he remains with life-threatening injuries.
The A47 was closed for several hours while emergency services dealt with the incident and officers carried out investigations at the scene. The road reopened shortly after 4pm.
Norfolk Police is now appealing for witnesses as officers work to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision.
They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened or who was travelling along the A47 around the time of the incident and may have relevant dashcam footage.
