Jennifer Eves has been appointed interim chief executive of City College Norwich and will take up the role from September.
City College Norwich has appointed Jennifer “Jen” Eves as its new Interim Chief Executive Officer.
She will take up the role from 1 September, following the departure of long-serving Principal and Chief Executive Jerry White, who is leaving at the end of August after almost 17 years with the college.
Jen Eves is already a familiar face at City College Norwich, having served as Chief Operating Officer since November 2024. In that role, she has helped lead support services, business functions and wider strategic work across the college group.
Before joining the college, she was Director of HR, Governance and Regulatory at West Suffolk Council. Earlier in her career she served with Suffolk Police, rising to the rank of Chief Superintendent.
The appointment is for the 2026/27 academic year, with the college’s Board saying her experience and leadership made her well placed to guide the organisation through its next chapter.
City College Norwich forms part of a wider group which also includes Easton College and Paston College, educating thousands of young people, adults and apprentices across Norfolk.
The college says arrangements to appoint an interim Chief Operating Officer to replace Jen will be announced separately.
