A man from Norwich is preparing to run the entire length of the Norfolk coastline to raise money for the Samaritans in memory of his sister.
Paul Guillet will take on an incredible 83-mile endurance run on 24 July, following the Norfolk Coast Path from Hunstanton to Hopton-on-Sea.
Paul began volunteering for the Samaritans after the loss of his sister, Bethany, and says the challenge is a tribute to her memory as well as an opportunity to raise awareness of the charity's life-saving work.
The run will test both his physical and mental endurance, with the route taking him across beaches, coastal paths and countryside from west to east Norfolk.
Through his fundraising efforts, Paul hopes to encourage more conversations around mental health and remind people that support is always available for those who are struggling.
The Samaritans provides confidential emotional support to anyone experiencing distress or despair, with volunteers available day and night throughout the year.
Paul says every donation and message of support will help motivate him as he takes on one of the toughest challenges of his life while honouring his sister's memory.
