An apprenticeship veterinary nurse who overcame significant health challenges has been named Apprentice of the Year at the Apprenticeships Norfolk Awards.
Mia Hutchinson, who works at Durham Vets, achieved distinctions in all her exams and completed her apprenticeship early.
The awards held during National Apprenticeship Week recognise apprentices and employers from across the county.
