Council elections in Norfolk will now go ahead this May after a government U-turn.
Ministers have confirmed plans to postpone the Norfolk County Council and Norwich City Council elections have been withdrawn following legal advice.
It means both authorities must now prepare for votes as scheduled.
Local politicians have reacted strongly with council leaders saying they're ready to proceed after weeks of uncertainty.
