Live facial recognition technology is set to be introduced by Norfolk Police as part of efforts to improve public safety in Norwich.
The system will be used at selected locations to help find wanted offenders and those breaching court orders.
Police say the technology will be used responsibly with strict safeguards in place and officers will be present during deployments to answer questions from the public.
