The UK Health Security Agency has issued a cold weather alert for the east of England as freezing conditions continue.
The alert comes into force at six o'clock this evening and will remain in place for 72 hours.
Health officials warn the cold could increase risks for vulnerable people and place extra pressure on health services with snow and ice forecast across parts of the region.
