Senior councillors have defended plans to raise car parking charges in several North Norfolk seaside towns.
Fees in places like Cromer, Sheringham and Wells-next-the-Sea will increase to help generate more than £150,000 in extra income.
The council says the money will help support facilities such as Cromer Pier and public toilets.
Leaders insist the changes are fair and remain competitive with other coastal destinations.
