Police have arrested a man after reports of someone with a gun in North Walsham.
Officers were called to New Road shortly after 8 o'clock this morning.
A man in his 50s was detained and an imitation firearm was recovered.
Nearby roads were closed while police dealt with the incident.
Two schools in the area were also contacted as a precaution.
