Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service have been tackling two blazes in an area of woodland near Norwich.
They reported they were dealing with two separate fires in Thorpe St Andrew on a patch of land known as the Belmore Plantation
Fire crews from Carrow, Sprowston, Earlham, Wroxham, a response vehicle from Wymondham and a water carrier from Hethersett all attended the incidents.
Another fire near Pound Lane was also extinguished. A second, larger fire covered an area of about 200m by 200m and Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service said it was "likely to have a presence on scene for some time".
They also thanked people who raised the alarm and praised the for their vigilance during the hot weather.
