Children who started school during the Covid lockdowns may still be feeling the effects.
Researchers at the University of East Anglia studied nearly 140 Norfolk children and found those in reception during the pandemic showed slower development in key learning and behaviour skills.
Experts said the findings highlight the need for extra support in schools.
