Submarine drone trialled on Norfolk Broads

A submarine drone is being trialled on the Norfolk Broads and could soon help monitor the area's 125 miles of waterways.

The Broads Authority says the remotely operated drone can inspect wrecks and underwater structures like lock gates, reducing the need for costly and risky diving work.

The £10,800 drone, funded by National Parks England, has already been successfully tested at Mutford Lock.
