Norovirus cases at the James Padgett University Hospital have risen sharply from 0 to 15 patients in just one week.

New NHS data shows no cases at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital during the same period.

Nationally, hospitals are seeing a surge with more than 800 beds occupied by patients with norovirus-like symptoms.
