Foster carers in Norfolk could see a 15% pay rise under new plans being considered by Norfolk County Council.
The £1.5 million a year proposal includes higher fees, extra rewards for long service and expanded therapeutic support as the council looks to recruit and retain more carers.
Cabinet member Penny Carpenter said the investment recognises the vital role foster families play in helping children thrive.
