Overturned vehicle in Lowestoft residential area

A car overturned on a residential road in Lowestoft leaving the road covered in debris. One person had to be freed from the vehicle by emergency services who were called just after 2pm.

Police, paramedics, and firefighters responded to the which happened at the junction with All Saints Road and Kirkley Cliff Road. The road was blocked whilst the incident was dealt with.

Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service said "Firefighters worked to stabilise the vehicles and safely extricated one casualty who was trapped" 

They went on to say "The casualty was released and given first aid by fire service personnel at the scene, while awaiting the arrival of the ambulance service."
