It's reported that Norwich airport is set to be sold to a new owner along with Exeter and Bournemouth airports.
Norwich Airport became was acquired as part of Rigby Group in 2014. This new deal rumoured to be be worth £200m will see the the transfer of ownership to investment group ICG. The three airports, see more than two million passengers each year travel through the gates.
Richard Pace, managing director of Norwich Airport is pleased with the recent progress of Norwich airport and believes the new deal with ICG with be a “significant milestone” for the Airport.
It is also expected to increase the number of destinations available to passengers once the sale is completed with the scope to build on further opportunities for current air operators who already use Norwich Airport.
