Norfolk riding centre closed following disease outbreak

A riding for the disabled centre in Norfolk has gone into lockdown after a horse tested positive for strangles.

The Magpie Centre near Downham Market says it's closing for around six weeks.

Strangles is a highly infectious respiratory disease in horses but can't be passed to humans.

The centre says strict biosecurity measures are in place with no volunteers or participants allowed on site.
