Pelle Mattson was given a debut by Liam Manning against Phil Parkinson's side, with Matěj Jurásek also starting in NR1.

There was an early chance for Josh Sargent, but the US international saw his effort held well by Arthur Okonkwo.

Vladan Kovačević was called into action in the other goal, getting across well to palm away Lewis O'Brien's free-kick.

Josh Windass nearly opened the scoring for the away side, seeing his venomous effort strike the post before bouncing away from danger.

Shortly after, Norwich were next to threaten as Jurásek surged forward and saw his effort saved by Okonkwo.

Five minutes before the break, Norwich were ahead. Jurásek sent Jack Stacey through on goal and the right-back opened the scoring, finishing well beyond Okonkwo.

However, 60 seconds into the second half, Wrexham were level. Issa Kabore's ball across goal was fired home by Windass.

Wrexham almost went in front moments later, as O'Brien's effort was snuffed out by Kovačević.

But the away side's strong start in the second half was rewarded once more, with Kabore's ball across goal being finished by Ryan Longman.

And before the hour mark, Wrexham would add their third goal. Windass wasn't closed down on the edge of the area and he curled a fantastic effort into the top corner.

Jovon Makama nearly pulled a goal back for the Canaries but couldn't keep his header down from Oscar Schwartau's cross.

And in the second minute of injury time, Makama pulled one back as he followed up Liam Gibbs' initial effort that was parried by Okonkwo.

But despite a late rally from Norwich, Wrexham would claim all three points.
