Match Report | Coventry City 1-1 Norwich City

A stoppage-time equaliser meant Norwich City had to settle for a point, as they drew 1-1 away to Coventry City in the Sky Bet Championship.

Liam Manning named an unnamed side from the win away to Blackburn Rovers prior to the international break, with Jack Stacey and Theo Adelusi named on the bench.

The home side would register the first opportunity of the game as the ball fell to Haji Wright in the area, but the chance was snuffed out.

Moments later, Ephron Mason-Clarke came within inches of the opening goal as his header struck the post.

But despite Coventry's positive start, Norwich went ahead. Jakov Medić won the ball high up the pitch and found Mathias Kvistgaarden, who found the far corner with a fantastic finish.

Wright threatened once more for the Sky Blues, getting across Ben Chrisene to win a header but the effort was deflected wide for a corner.

Kvistgaarden and Josh Sargent combined well, with the US international getting a shot away but it was too high and went over the crossbar.

In a quiet second half, Vladan Kovačević made a good reflex stop to deny Brandon Thomas-Asante from point-blank range.

The goalkeeper made another fantastic stop moments later, getting across well to deny Ellis Simms.

Coventry's late rally would eventually lead to their equaliser as Wright bundled in from close range.

The Canaries are back at home next weekend, hosting Wrexham at Carrow Road in their next Championship clash.
