The Park Hotel to be refurbished and reopened to the public in Diss.
It has been announced by the Home Office that migrants will stop being sent to The Park Hotel in Diss, and South Norfolk Council have also confirmed that those staying at the hotel are already being removed.
The hotel has been used for the last 2 years to house asylum seekers, and recently witnessed protests after officials gave plans to send single men to the hotel, rather than families.
Adrian Ramsay who is the local Green MP for Waveney Valley said "I feel for the families who have been living in the hotel who have been caught in the middle of the arguments about its future." He went on to add he hoped those at the hotel would now be "given proper support and information".
