Three people have been arrested following an altercation in Swaffham.

Shortly before 6pm last night (Monday 18 August 2025) a group of men were involved in a fight involving weapons on Lynn Street.

Officers attended along with ambulance crews and found two people with serious injuries.

A man in his 60s was taken to hospital with serious head injuries where he remains in a stable condition.

A man in his 40s was taken to hospital with puncture wounds, believed to have been sustained from a screwdriver, and later discharged.

Three men were arrested on suspicion of affray.

It’s believed all those involved were known to each other.
