Appeal after teenage girls assaulted In Lowestoft

Police are appealing for witnesses after two teenage girls were assaulted in Lowestoft last night.

It happened at around 10:30pm, Sunday 10 August, on London Road North, near to the junction with Gordon Road. Two teenage girls report being approached by a man, unknown to them, who asked one girl for her social media profile information. The girl declined and the suspect then punched her in the head causing a nose bleed and redness. The second girl was also punched in the head, causing pain.

Both girls were checked over by ambulance staff but were not taken to hospital.

The suspect is described as being in his early 20s, 5 feet 6 inches tall, skinny build, with a beard and blonde curly hair, and was wearing a black tracksuit.
