Christmas Panto & Shows 2026

Oh yes it is! Pantomime and Christmas-show season is almost here, and theatres across Norfolk and North Suffolk are preparing for some of their biggest productions of the year.
There are traditional pantomimes, huge variety shows, circus spectaculars and some uniquely Norfolk Christmas favourites to choose from.
Thursford Christmas Spectacular
One of Norfolk's biggest annual Christmas traditions gets underway first.
The Thursford Christmas Spectacular runs from 10 November until 23 December, with performances at 2pm and 7pm.
Around 130 performers combine music, dancing, comedy, speciality acts and an orchestra in a three-hour production.
Tickets start from £42 for selected performances.
Thursford advises that the show is suitable for ages eight and over, with no admission for under-fives.
Cromer Pier Christmas Show
The Cromer Pier Christmas Show opens on 14 November and runs until 28 December at the Pavilion Theatre.
Olly Day returns as host for a festive mixture of music, comedy, speciality acts, singers and dancers.
The production follows a sell-out 2025 season and remains one of the county's most distinctive Christmas theatre traditions.
Peter Pan – Norwich Theatre Royal
Norwich Theatre Royal heads to Neverland for The All New Adventures of Peter Pan, running from 5 December until 3 January 2027.
Joe Tracini plays Smee alongside Milo Clarke as Peter Pan, Kerry Ingram as Wendy and Hamilton star Karl Queensborough as Captain Hook.
The production includes traditional pantomime comedy, music, dancing and audience participation, with accessible performances available during the run.
Great Yarmouth Hippodrome Christmas Spectacular
The historic Hippodrome Circus brings back its Christmas Spectacular from 5 December until 3 January.
Hosted by Jack Jay and Norfolk comedian Ben Langley, the show combines international circus performers, aerial acts, comedy and the Hippodrome's famous water spectacular.
More than 60 performers are expected to take part.
Beauty and the Beast – Britannia Pier
There is another big Christmas production just along Great Yarmouth seafront this year.
Beauty and the Beast runs at Britannia Pier from 8–31 December, marking the pier's first celebrity pantomime.
Gareth Gates stars as the Beast, with tickets currently starting from £17.50.
The run also includes SEN-friendly and signed performances.
Snow White – Lowestoft
The Marina Theatre presents Snow White from 11 December until 1 January 2027.
Rak-Su's Myles Stephenson stars as Prince Louis alongside comedian Patrick Monahan, Terry Gleed as Muddles and Simon Howe as Dame Dolly.
The run includes signed and relaxed performances alongside the main family shows.
Goldilocks and the Three Bears – Beccles
Beccles Public Hall and Theatre will also be joining the pantomime fun, with Goldilocks and the Three Bears running from 12–30 December.
We'll keep updating this guide as more Christmas productions, cast announcements and special performances are confirmed.
