Lawyers for Great Yarmouth MP Rupert Lowe have asked the High Court to block a parliamentary watchdog from investigating a complaint against him.
His legal team claims the independent complaints and grievance scheme process is unfair.
The watchdog says MPs are subject to Commons rules. A judge is due to rule later this month.
