Police in Norwich will use live facial recognition technology in the city centre for the first time this week.
Norfolk Police said the system will help identify people wanted by the courts or those considered a risk to the public.
The technology will compare live camera images with a watch list of suspects. Officers say any faces that don't match are deleted immediately.
