Match Report | Leicester City 0-2 Norwich City

Second-half goals from Anis Ben Slimane and Ali Ahmed helped Norwich City to a 2-0 win away to Leicester City in the Sky Bet Championship.

José Córdoba, Ben Chrisene, Sam Field and Mathias Kvistgaarden were all given starts by Philippe Clement, as the Belgian shuffled the pack from Wednesday's win over Sheffield Wednesday.

Harry Winks was behind the game's first chance, attempting a strike from long distance that needed Vladan Kovačević to parry away.

Kvistgaarden came close from a corner for Norwich, seeing a header hit the side-netting.

Norwich threatened once more, this time through Paris Maghoma who saw an effort pushed by the fingertips of Jakub Stolarczyk.

In the second half, Maghoma did well again to get beyond Oliver Skipp and fire at goal. Once again, he was denied by the Leicester goalkeeper.

Stolarczyk was called into action once again, this time saving well from Anis Ben Slimane's shot.

Moments later, Slimane would find the back of the net. Field found the Tunisian international, who fired into the bottom corner.

Norwich would double their lead 10 minutes later. Errol Mundle-Smith's shot was deflected into the path of Ali Ahmed who couldn't miss from close range.

The Canaries are in Emirates FA Cup action next weekend, as they face Leeds United in the fifth round of the competition on Sunday, March 8.
