DAB Plus Move Is Complete

Broadland Radio completes move to DAB+ Digital Radio
Broadland Radio has officially completed its move from DAB Digital Radio to DAB+ Digital Radio, meaning listeners now need a DAB+ compatible radio to receive the station on digital radio.
The switch took place on 1st July 2026 and means Broadland Radio is no longer available on the old DAB Digital Radio platform. The station is now broadcast on DAB+ Digital Radio, giving listeners across Norfolk and North Suffolk improved quality stereo sound.
Listeners who previously tuned in on DAB Digital Radio will need to retune their radio and check that their set is DAB+ compatible. Most modern DAB radios support DAB+, but some older models may not receive the upgraded service.
A simple way for listeners to check is to see whether their radio can receive Classic FM on DAB. If Classic FM is available, the radio should be DAB+ compatible and ready to receive Broadland Radio.
Broadland Radio remains available on DAB+ Digital Radio, on smart speakers and through the Broadland Radio website.
The station continues to offer Norfolk and North Suffolk’s best mix, with feel-good music from across the last 40 years alongside local information, events, travel, news and community updates.

“We do want to remind listeners that Broadland Radio is no longer available on the old DAB Digital Radio platform, so anyone listening on a digital radio will need a DAB+ compatible set to continue listening.
