England Set Up Norway Quarter-Final

England are through to the World Cup quarter-finals after a dramatic 3-2 win over Mexico.
The Three Lions now face Norway in the last eight, after Norway stunned Brazil with a 2-1 victory to book their own place in the quarter-finals. The match is due to kick off at 10pm on Saturday 11 July, making it a far more sociable one for local fans than the 1am Mexico match.
With England now just one game away from the semi-finals, pubs and venues across Norfolk and North Suffolk are expected to be busy, and fans are being urged to book ahead or check directly with venues before heading out.
In Norwich, The Compleat Angler on Prince of Wales Road is already promoting England’s World Cup quarter-final against Norway and inviting fans to book a World Cup table.
The Boundary Public House in Norwich also lists Norway v England at 10pm on Saturday 11 July as part of its live sport fixtures.
Other Norwich venues promoting World Cup coverage include The Lamb Inn, which says it is showing the tournament live on big screens and taking bookings, and Pig & Whistle, which is also advertising World Cup coverage.
Visit Norwich has also listed local World Cup screening options during the tournament, including venues showing matches live in the city centre.
More pubs and bars across Norfolk and North Suffolk are likely to confirm plans over the coming days, especially now the fixture is confirmed and the kick-off time is much more manageable.
If you are planning to watch in a pub, bar or venue, the advice is simple: check the venue’s website or social media, book where possible, and arrive early.
