Norfolk Heritage Open Days

Norfolk Heritage Open Days returns from Friday 11 to Sunday 20 September 2026, with free heritage events, experiences and discoveries across the county.
The festival is part of England’s largest community-led celebration of history and culture, opening up historic buildings, hidden places and local stories for people to explore. The 2026 theme is “Everyday Histories,” focusing on the ordinary lives, places and stories that have helped shape Norfolk’s past.
Events can include guided tours, open buildings, talks, walks, exhibitions and family-friendly activities. While the festival is free to enjoy, some events may require advance booking because of limited capacity.
