Lowestoft Maritime Festival

Lowestoft Maritime Festival takes place on Saturday 29 August 2026, bringing a free day of maritime history, entertainment and fundraising to the town.

The one-day event celebrates Lowestoft’s coastal and seafaring identity, with visitors able to enjoy a community festival built around the town’s long connection with the sea. The event is listed as running from 10am to 4pm and is designed as a relaxed day out for families, visitors and anyone interested in Lowestoft’s maritime heritage.

The festival also has a fundraising focus, supporting local nautical causes while helping to bring people together on the coast. Entry is free.
