Kelling Heath Autumn Star Party
Kelling Heath Autumn Star Party takes place from Monday 5 to Monday 12 October 2026 at Kelling Heath Holiday Park, near Weybourne.
Also known as the Loughton Astronomical Society Autumn Equinox Sky Camp, the event is one of the UK’s largest gatherings for amateur astronomers. Hundreds of stargazers meet for a week of dark-sky observing on the North Norfolk coast, taking advantage of Kelling Heath’s darker skies and dedicated observing fields.
The event is specialist, but nationally recognised, with telescopes, astronomy equipment and a strong community atmosphere. The main event day is Saturday 10 October, with trade stands, talks and a raffle.
Day visitors can attend free, while anyone staying for the week or weekend should book accommodation or camping directly with Kelling Heath.
